Intro
Hey y'all hey! It's your girl Diamond Crystal also known as The Gallivanting Grandma™ and it's early morning here in Costa Rica. This is my final day; I am at the airport [and] I am waiting for my flight to Barbados.
Celebrating My Birthday in Barbados
I announced earlier that that will be the location where I celebrate my 62nd birthday. I'm excited about that because I've been to a lot of Caribbean countries but but I have never been to Barbados. So I land today and I have seven whole days to relax and rejuvenate myself from the wonderful experience that was our Wanderlust Wellness Retreat, hosting at any given time between 8 and 25 sisters here in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Wanderlust Wellness Retreat: The Highlights
You know the highlight really was (in addition to everything that went on) the highlight was just seeing how many women showed up for the Sharing Circle on Saturday night. It was just amazing, really! Astounding! No one, including myself, expected that we would have upwards of 20 to 25 sisters there sharing their experiences, just in a very safe and open setting. Talking about life in Costa Rica, asking about life in Costa Rica as perhaps future expats, and learning from those who are born and raised in this country. Having sisters come all the way from Limón to join the Sharing Circle was just an absolute joy for my heart.
So just wrapping up, you know. Yesterday was downtime and packing. Today is a travel day and then I will be settled in Barbados and back to doing my interviews for YouTube and pulling together the 2025 Retreat.
Introducing Back2theWater: My Upcoming 2025 Retreat
I'm excited about it y'all! We're going to learn to swim. We're going to have fun learning to swim. We're going to attack it from a mental, physical, and emotional basis and it's for folks like me who have aquaphobia; trying to conquer that fear of putting your face in the water, being submerged...
Let's get moving! Let's get back to the water.
So again just wrapping up a beautiful time here in Costa Rica with the sisters. Looking forward to some downtime in Barbados, and yes, I do have a 30-day sit in the country of Barbados.
Isn't that something?
Why You Should Try Housesitting
I mean, tell me where house sitting can't take you. If you want to go to the Caribbean, then you know there are sits there. Wherever it is in the world that you want to go, housesitting can take you there, whether it's an extended vacation, whether you are a full-time Nomad and housesitter like me.
However you want to, use it to scout out a new location, you know? You don't know whether or not you want live in Panama until you spend some time in Panama, right? So spend some time in Panama on a housesit in different areas and just figure it out, because everything is figure-out-able. Alright?
I am looking at the gate and they are about to start boarding, so I am going to wish you
nothing but peace and blessings wherever you are in the world and whatever you're
doing.
Peace and blessings!
